Supplementation
The Daily Supplement Stack
What I take with lunch, and the shorter optional set at dinner. Some of this is well-supported and some of it is a bet — the two are not the same and I try not to present them as such.
The protocol
- Lunch: quercetin + bromelain, broccoli seed extract, resveratrol, NAC, glycine, vitamin C, D3 + K2, multivitamin, fish oil, CoQ10, turmeric, Heart & Soil organ supplement.
- Optional at dinner: vitamin C, fish oil, turmeric.
- Bedtime stack is separate — see the pre-bed supplement protocol.
- Taken with food, deliberately: the fat-solubles need it.

What I take
With lunch: quercetin with bromelain, broccoli seed extract, resveratrol, NAC, glycine, vitamin C, D3 with K2, a multivitamin, fish oil, CoQ10, turmeric, and a Heart & Soil organ supplement.
Optionally at dinner: vitamin C, fish oil, turmeric.
The bedtime set is its own thing and lives in the pre-bed supplement protocol.
Why with food
The fat-soluble half of this list — D3, K2, CoQ10, the fish oil, the curcumin in turmeric — absorbs meaningfully better with a meal containing fat. Taking them on an empty stomach is paying full price for a fraction of the dose.
The bromelain is paired with quercetin for the same kind of reason: quercetin's absorption is poor on its own, and pairing is the standard workaround.
Sorting my own stack honestly
Not all of this is the same strength of claim, and I would rather say so:
- The better-supported end: D3 with K2, fish oil, and vitamin C. Ordinary, well-studied, and mostly about not being deficient.
- The middle: NAC, CoQ10, turmeric, quercetin. Real mechanisms, real studies, genuine questions about dose and bioavailability at what I take.
- The speculative end: resveratrol, broccoli seed extract, and the organ supplement. I take them on a reasonable-mechanism basis, not on the strength of outcome data in people like me.
